Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

(A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly not attributable to their commercial or self-employed professional activity.)

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day

on which you or a third party named by you who is not the carrier took possession of the last goods, provided that you ordered multiple goods as part of a single order and they were delivered separately.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments we have received from you, including delivery charges (except for additional costs arising from your choice of a different delivery method than the standard, lowest-cost delivery we offer), without undue delay and no later than 7 days from the day we receive the returned goods.

We will use the same means of payment for the refund that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this refund.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return the goods unused and in perfect condition to us without delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling the goods in a way that is not necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion or Early Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for:

  • the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for which an individual selection or decision by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer;

  • the supply of goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiration date would be quickly exceeded;

  • the supply of alcoholic beverages, the price of which was agreed upon at the time of the conclusion of the contract but which can only be delivered at least 30 days after conclusion and whose current value depends on market fluctuations beyond the entrepreneur’s control;

  • the supply of newspapers, periodicals, or magazines, except for subscription contracts.

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely in the case of contracts:

  • for the delivery of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if their seal was removed after delivery;

  • for the delivery of goods which, after delivery, were inseparably mixed with other items;

  • for the delivery of audio or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package if the seal was removed after delivery.
